week. We’ll be covering news and info from the DC/Marvel Comics universe as

Ask Daphne…
Beginning
in September You Write What will host a monthly column by ‘How to Write
Fanfiction’ author, Daphne Dangerlove, called ‘Ask Daphne’.
Got
a question about getting started as a fan fiction writer? Need tips, tricks or
techniques? Dying to ask someone how to deal with evil, trolling, flame
throwing reviewers? Well this is the place to do it.
Just
drop us a line by email (bloggingfanfiction@gmail.com)
with “Ask Daphne” in the subject line or tweet us with the hashtag #AskDaphne
and we may use your question in the column.

Tweets, posts, finding followers and affiliates - there's a lot to do and we'd love to have you on board.

to get better at your craft. Then Fan Fic U is for you! We'll be talking to
newbies about getting started and to fan fic vets on how to be the best writer
they can. It's Fan Fic U...because new or old, we can always get better.
Insomniac Writer's Challenge
Maybe
you've seen the tweets or the Facebook posts and wondered...what the heck
is the IWC!
IWC
stands for The Insomniac Writer's Challenge. The IWC is a weekly event
sponsored by YWW?! that brings together writers from across multiple fandoms in
a frenzied (and hopefully productive) writing exercise. For one hour
participants write whatever they want...a WIP, something new or even a random
journal or blog entry, whatever it is you spend 1 hour of focused writing -
forcing our muse to do some work!
The
IWC has had amazing participation over the month since it's started. In total,
participants have logged well over 35,000 words and the numbers are growing every
week.
So
if you're like us, a writer for whom the world 'night owl' was created, crack
out your laptop, dust off your inspiration and put your muse to work.
Join
us for The Insomniac Writer's Challege. Cuz, if you're awake, you might as well
make it count!
